The steps below should help you get to a point where you have a good idea of where you stand and what is achievable. It will also help us determine if we can add value and if we are the right fit for you.

Step 1 - Initial Phone meeting
To ensure we have the relevant expertise and are best suited to help you with your requirements, we typically have a short 15 minutes phone call. This ensures we do not waste your time or our own. If we believe we may be in a position to help you with your situation.

We want to spend our first meeting dealing with the matters that are really important to you and as little time as possible asking you for figures and details that can be provided before we meet.

step 3 - Meeting in our office
The goal of this meeting is to get perfectly clear on your goals, concerns and distinct financial situation. We will go through your key objectives and plans for the future.
We meet me in our office and we ask if you are married or in a long-term relationship, that your partner input in this process. The meeting should take approximately 90 minutes.

Step 4 - EXpert analysis
Following this meeting we will analyse what you want to achieve and how it interacts with your current financial position. We will then apply our significant expertise to build a financial plan that will give you the best chance of achieving your objectives.

This meeting is held in our office. During this meeting we will explain, in plain English, exactly what you need to do to achieve your objectives. The plan will seek to answer the questions that we identified as being most important to you in our previous meeting. Examples of these may include some or all of the following:
After our second meeting we will send you a two-page financial plan that summarises the plan we discussed in plain English. If we believe Distinct can add value to your situation and it would make sense for you to become an ongoing client our firm, we will also outline how much it would cost for us to implement the plan and help you to manage your plan going forward.

Once we are both agreed to proceed with the recommended plan we will send you the necessary paperwork to complete to implement the various stages of your plan. At this stage of the process we are available to meet with you to assist with any queries that you may have and to help you complete the necessary paperwork.
Step 8 - Ongoing client of distinct
As an client of Distinct you will benefit from our ongoing advise and expertise. Details of this will depend on your situation and your requirements. It will be agreed when your become a long term client.
